Chosen option: "Astro with github pages", because:

• I can own the site and control all aspects.
• Good website performance (lighthouse score).
• Blog template available. Up and running quickly.
• Free hosting with github pages.
• A few well known individuals in the industry using Astro. I can get up and running quickly with a clean blog website.
